THE MESA-BUILDING PROGRAM

This is a powerful, transformative journey of personal healing, ancestor work, karmic release, spiritual growth, and becoming of service. We come into balance with our true selves, our relationships, the earth, our work, and life purpose. Through ceremony and the creation of a personal mesa/medicine bag within a sacred group, students heal their woundedness: transforming traumas, losses, problems, and issues into sources of power. The personal mesa brings us into right relationship with Mother Earth and all the elements of Spirit.

The program includes three intensive four-day retreats scheduled six months apart. The dates listed under Mesa 1 are your first retreat. The other two retreats will be scheduled according to the needs of the group. The program also includes monthly checkin’s through video calls and/or local meetings, depending on the group needs. Then there’s the awesome group support through the Ayllu Messenger Chat, which keeps everyone connected between retreats. Welcome to your new family!

MESA 4: RETURN TO THE EARTH

August 21-23, 2026

Advanced training open only to Mesa-Carriers. This is the next step after completing your personal healing mesa. We will deepen your relationship to your mesa, transforming it into a collective mesa that can assist you in working with others or holding space for the collective. It will become a more powerful anchor as you move beyond your wounds as sources of power and embrace the land as your source. We will be mapping your kuyas and exploring their jobs in your mesa. We will be diving deeper into shamanic cosmology and tools. We will also focus on strengthen your relationship with all four elements. This is a 3-day retreat that ends on Sunday.

MESA 1: WAY OF THE SERPENT

Through deep experiential exercises, ceremonies, group work, individual reflection time, and energetic techniques, students will illuminate energetic patterns that have shaped their stories thus far, limiting them to repeating the same painful patterns over and over. We will shed our pasts as the serpent sheds her skin—all at once. Releasing these energetic patterns allows us to drop our stories of victimization, failure, guilt, and shame. We become free to write new stories as we learn to step into the universal flow.

MESA 2: THE JAGUAR JOURNEY

Continuing along the path to becoming Earth Keepers, we expand our shamanic tool kit. We bring light to ancestral and karmic energy that binds us. We transform that energy. We face our shadow, releasing the need for enemies. We learn to track intuitively. We journey beyond the fear of death itself, across the rainbow bridge.

MESA 3: THE FLIGHT OF THE CONDOR

We come into the way of the visionary. We release our roles and come to understand our archetypes. We change our perception of who we are in this world. We embrace our true nature. We become ready to dream a new world into being. We complete the personal mesa. Students have the option of receiving Earthkeeper Rites upon completion of this class.

Angie Fenske, LCSW is welcoming new students to join her on the Shaman’s Path. Angie has been practicing the Energy Medicine from the High Andes of Peru for the last 20 years, integrating profound energetic healing techniques into her holistic, nature-based therapy practice. Angie has studied extensively under Karen Duncan, an initiated Hampe Kamayok, and Peruvian Master Shaman & teacher Jose Luis Herrera. Angie has traveled to Peru several times to learn from direct experience with medicine people including Altomesayoks and Pampamesayoks. Angie integrates her years of experience as a psychotherapist, retreat leader, and shaman to create life-changing ceremonies, retreats and classes.

About Angie Fenske

I discovered the power of Shamanic Energy Work in 2005 when working through a personal trauma. I was a trauma therapist in need of a trauma therapist, and I knew I would be a terrible client. Through a series of divinely guided events, I was connected to the person who would become my teacher and mentor. In one healing session, with a woman who was still in training as an energy medicine practitioner, and not even a therapist, I experienced complete relief from the traumatized state I had been stuck in for months.Life Journey’s is my way of extending help to those who need it the most. I focus on each person’s spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical goals with a firm commitment to providing customized solutions that are tailored to each individual’s needs.
